What does Personal Development mean to you?
This is the first in a series of posts about the components that make up the Wheel of Life, a self-evaluation coaching tool that helps gauge where you are in life, where you’d like to be and how to begin taking those steps forward.
On April 28th, I’ll be hosting an event where we’ll go through the Wheel of Life and get started on the process of transforming your life! If you’re local to Placerville, Calif. and would like to join us, CLICK HERE!
If you’re not local, but would still like to explore this transformative process, stay tuned because I’ll be hosting a webinar in the coming weeks!
When I’m thinking about Personal Development, I think about the ingredients that make up me. For me, this involves how I’m taking care of my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. It’s all the different types of things I’m doing to better myself as a human being.
For example, I like to work out. This helps me develop the soundness of my mind and my emotions. I’m interested in how our different blood types can affect our overall health, eating a mindful diet of healthy foods and learning stress management techniques. I’ve also learned a lot by reading about the different personality types and how my specific type interacts with the world around me.
For others, Personal Development could just mean how you’re developing your mind. What classes are you taking? What books are you reading? What resources are you utilizing to grow as a person?
So, what DOES Personal Development mean to you? Please share your thoughts in the comments, I’d love to hear what you’re working on!
